ouch.
this would be great news for a gas producer with spare capacity above their contracted portfolio to SELL into spot prices like that.
but for poor old cooper, the plant totally stinks and they+APA are having to PAY those high spot prices to source 3rd party gas to meet their own production SHORTFALL.
what a dog. stop talking about a takeover. its cheap because it hasnt delivered. no one would buy this unless they knew they could fix the plant. but management know the plant better than anyone and they can't fix it. so why would anyone want to take this over?
this will just limp along on life support. cooper energy is such a disappointing company.
