Certainly a shift to growth through acquisition is not something that I am keen on, and I can see why people would sell out or lighten their holdings when they found out about it the way it transpired.

However if this was a defensive play then that does change things somewhat. Unfortunately unless SXY decides to divulge their reasoning, then anything we discuss here is speculation.

If SXY can continue to grow at the rate they have over the last 12 months then I think that it will be reflected in the sp. IMO The selloff was a knee jerk reaction. The market in general is on a hair trigger at the moment people are looking for a reason to offload.
