Who did you have in mind? Who is in the same game, that would be big enough to take over TOX, apart from TPI?
And TPI are on the financial edge, so I doubt they'd be looking to make acquisitions....
I know what you're getting at, but I see TOX as more the predator than the prey - they could still be looking to make more acquisitions themselves and spread their footprint even further, ready to make the most of an upturn in the economy.
At least they are in a field that is unlikely to be hard-hit by an economic downturn - after all, toxic waste still needs to be disposed of.
My own view is that they are grossly underpriced at the moment, and would be an excellent buy-and-hold for the long term.
I have a large holding of TOX shares, and they are in my bottom drawer collection. Most definitely NOT a trading stock for me. And the volumes are too low to be much use as a trading stock for anyone else, too.
Nope - "snooze and cruise" for now - sit tight, keep the head down, let the financial storm blow over, then take advantage of an expanded presence. That would be the best strategy for TOX, methinks.
