There was an article in the Courier mail online business suggesting that there is chatter about a possible takeover by private equity and that Andrew Buckley may be involved.
In my view this is still a great company and with the fall in the AUD there earnings from US operations which accounts for at least 55 % of revenue is going to sky rocket this half. Looking forward to the HY results as I think they will be at the upper end of forecast and with a divvy of about 10-13c what a great buy this was and still is.
I don't think there will be any write downs because if you read their annual report they had 70 odd million in buffer on valuations so it would take a massive write down to turn that into -ve territory.
All those shorters should get back in fast !
