There is a good article about NAB in this weeks BRW.
In essence the article says that NAB are planning a new hybrid capital raising when they are already have a large amount of surplus capital. Leads to 2 possibilites - a capital return (share buy back) or for a takeover of a "general insurance company", something the NAB CEO alluded to recently.
If the latter, then IAG may be a possibility?
