There aren't any serious competitors in the A/NZ market, only smaller mobs offering a very basic platform i.e. Build Tools. IMO these platforms are 10-15 years behind ACX, with many government departments mandating its use on large projects.
ACX is often adding new features with the latest beta feature of online BIM model review being the most important yet - this will save me and my clients many hours in model coordination and thousands in third party software costs - Revit, ArchiCAD, etc.
As a heavy Aconex user, I'm loathe to use any other platform, as I know it will cost me many hours in lost productivity. Their project management and document control efficiency is simply incomparable.
