i think where there is smoke .....there is fire. Orica is the one that got away from Westfarmers. Westfarmers tried to buy it in 1997 ( when it was called ICI)...but couldn't. Westfarmers CEO back then is now their chairman.....if you look at westfarmers chemical division....it plays in all the same spaces that Orica does so they would have immense synergies.....
