Takeover suitors are circling Huon Aquaculture Group as it reels from a big drop in earnings and asset write downs.
The salmon farmer reported a half-year statutory loss of $95.3 million on Friday, down from a net profit after tax of $22 million at the same time last year.
Huon said it had appointed advisers as part of a strategic review after unsolicited offers for the Tasmania-based business.
