Sept. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Incitec Pivot Ltd., Australia's largest fertilizer maker, may be a takeover target for Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc., the Australian Financial Review newspaper reported, citing market speculation.
Potash has an enterprise value of $43 billion, six times that of Incitec, the newspaper said in its Street Talk column. Potash is debt free and could buy Incitec without selling shares, it said.
Other potential acquirers of Incitec include Norway's Yara International ASA, Agrium Inc. and Mosaic Co., the Review reported.
``We don't comment on speculation,'' Neville Heydon, spokesman for Melbourne-based Incitec said by phone.
