It makes sense for ABP - their other assets are under pressure and they see storage as a growth segment... I don't think it will be a cash takeover offer though.... NSR market cap $1.9B vs ABP $1.7B (IBP holds 8% of NSR)....ABP would need to raise a lot of money for a takeover
NSR is trading at a reasonable premium to its NTA so the market is certainly expecting some corporate activity - I personally want to see a clean cash takeover from Public Storage.
