Good read: Gold and Silver Resources and Reserves at the Charters Towers Gold Project

So, lets look at the resource VD as stated on their website and the above mentioned report:
JORC Gold Resources:  25,000,000 tonnes @ 14 g/t for 11,000,000 ounces (Inferred Mineral Resource)
JORC Gold Reserves:  2,500,000 tonnes @ 7.7 g/t for 620,000 ounces (Probable Ore Reserves)

Is it wow? Is it the largest gold deposit in Australia? How would they know this with the stated resource?
Why haven't they converted their inferred resources to a high level or to reserves?
No proven reserves are listed even though they have drilled over 350,000 meters, mined and processed the ore during trial mining

They have almost the lowest of the low in JORC compliant resource.
Its a wonder their are no takers for investing $75M (originally $100M) - to get going.
And sold the processing plant in a fire sale to boot!
