Restricted Cash in this instance is not a general corporate restriction - HUM has no corporate debt for such covenants nor is the cash availabe to pay debtors/creditors outside the securitisation and special purpose vehicles where the restricted cash sits.
HUM have sold receivables and loans to investors through it's securitisation programs.
Quoting - Note 5(1) Interim Report-The restricted cash represents amounts held as part of the Groups secured funding arrangements which it is not available to the group -restricted cash balances is distributed to various parties at future dates and is not available to the group for any other purpose.
Again I refer you to the Interim accounts - note 5 and 5 (1) - also note 12.
