Why would you buy now? I buy oppies to increase my leverage. With the $1.38 cash component, your leverage is decreased.
If you want the company headed by Gilbertson, you should by after the new company is formed. Otherwise, you have to buy over twice as much shares because you know 60% will be returned to you in cash.
So, SP will go nowhere until go ahead.
