In truth I am more disapointed with the current management giving up so quickly and agreeing to sell for what I regard as a giveaway price and break fee.
With Brian Gilbertson, he is an unknown performer to me. His time at BHP was to short to judge him, working for Susal doesn't impress me. Althought I think Billiton share holders got the better end of the deal for BHP thanks to Gilbertson, I just dont want to see him get CSM on the cheap. His time with Billiton was largely spent wheeling and dealing.
So far I have been prepared to put my money where my mouth is and am disapointed the directors don't have the same opinion of CSM's future as an independant company. My bottom line is it is to cheap and at this price and with these conditions I am disapointed the directors recommended it. Put it to the vote by all means but if they recommend it at this price you have to wonder whether they are right for the job.
I would not be surprised if the insto's knocked it back.
