If Merial or Fort Dodge or anyone else got an IMU product and put it into market it would potentially upset an equilibrium in the market and Novartis would have millions in jeopardy. This thread has already shown there is some conflict in product lines
So if I was Novartis - I would put a couple of mill down and take control of my competition. I would then bury the product in my own decision making and bureaucracy. Managers of IMU wouldnt care... they are getting well paid and can just say "its not our fault"
