Raider, Merial signed a deal 2005 (from memory), IMU had several presentation stating that getting animal vaccines will take half of what we normally know for human drugs. I am not sure why Merial haven't progressed with PPE or PRRS.

I expect Novartis will need a good 6 - 12months to learn all these and it's history.

PRRS ... since 2008 only 2 trials. I think they have to do more trials. This is another 1-2 years then who knows what comes after that. Unless they tell us that the last trial is it, I doubt it.

PPE ... if they are still getting the manufacturing process right with their pending patent, I get the feeling it is not yet finished. IMU stated previously PRRS is their lead product.

We can only hope Novartis will put a lot of resources to get this to market within 2 years but judging by the current report, I am looking at 3+ years but maybe by then IMU would be taken over by Novartis at 14cents.
