    It would not be simple to adapt the QFT technology to PON (or POC) tests because you have to carry out the 20 hour or longer incubation to get the IFN gamma released from the T cells.
    I guess you could continue to do this In Tube and then quantify the IFN by such a test but you would still have this delay - hence the main advantage of a PON test would be lost.
