Agree, lots of immediate questions to be answered here on this stock.
Major owner of Allied Overseas Ltd is Sun Hung Kai.....AOL by way of its purchase of about 26% of APAC....and that Substantial Shareholder Notice strongly suggests AOL/Sun Hung Kai have control now of APAC.
Previously Sun Hung Kai had disclosed a MGX top 20 list...a 18.5% gross holding in the company.(via its ownership in APAC)
Purchase of additional shares by Sun Hung Kai...over and above that 20% means MGX can, and will object to Takeover Panel...same as 2008.
It seems so obviuos this time, that Takeover Panel will again stop AOL purchase of COL shares in APAC.....that I agree maybe AOL will move on the company.
