Despite being Asian but having lived in Australia for such a long time, its sad to see malinvestment speculating in real estate when that money should really go into investments into great Australian Companies so that they do not have to be taken over by foreign countries - for e.g. China over resource companies, likes of WNI, US/EU over biotech.
If only all that money from the last decade or so went into the good Australia companies that could bring about innovation and offer something more valuable, we could be looking at a different Australia today.
