    ozwire your post is incorrect. A Scheme of Arrangement only requires 75% approval for the scheme to be approved. Once the Scheme is approved by 75%, the acquirer gets full control of the target company. The 90% figure attached to a compulsory takeover is irrelevant in this situation. 75% is the magic number.
