I don't think takeover but maybe Onyx takes a stake in Patrys and perhaps it is a large enough for Patrys to put the takeover provision in.
This is probably a better look for current shareholders as the SP will go up if this news is released and they retain upside in future value if Patrys performs.
Only negative I can see of this scenario is depending on the size of the Onyx stake it may deter other bidders from making an offer.
