Just a few of my thoughts below, but really an ideal time to move on Beach.
Given the
* strong fundamentals at Beach
* $400M plus cash in bank
* strong cash flow generation from ongoing operations
* imminent Farm-out of Lake Tanganyika
* low share price which massively discounts the above

It may well be that
a) someone swoops on Beach and gobbles it up (Chevron or Santos (once PNG LNG cash flow comes on-line end 2014) most likely)
b) Beach takes on a competitor eg Drillsearch
I think that Cooper Energy is still small beer, Cooper needs Beach more than the other way around.
