I definitely think it is going to be on the cards at some stage. (whether it is thoratec or someone else)...the question will be when to strike.......if they want to wait until VCR has proven themselves in the US market or until they get closer to FDA approval then there is a good chance they will be paying alot more than $230 million as currently stands......so do they wait and pay though the teeth or do they accumulate and pounce now. If i was in their shoes ....you would seriously start accumulating a strategic stake now......when this company gets its approvals and is selling 5000 units a year the future return will more than pay itself off.

I don't ever want that to happen ...............VCR should stand on their own.......but they will need some big fundies on their books to prevent a future takeover..........
