sentiment is so low on AMP that it won't take much for it to go up.
I purchased my first holding (again) at $2.10
happy to hold and see what happens.
I feelsorry for the long term holders, but maybe you need to check your premise as to why you were holding.
long term investing in shares involves faith in the underlying business. faith in the underlying business involves an analysis of their underlying business performance. I am sorry but I struggle to understand why when their share price was north of $5 that a positive review of their business performance could be made against the share price of more than $5.
and business performance is not about dividends.
it's about looking at the underlying business profit and comparing that to the owners equity in the business and then comparing that to what Wall Street is paint for that equity (through the multiple of equity per share to share price per share)
