Despite AMP’s strong market position in a long term growth industry and its large distribution network and offshore growth options, the damaging banking Royal Commission findings have been disastrous for the AMP share price. The company is exposed to uncertainty on several fronts, including potential class actions flowing from the banking Royal Commission, possibly more fund outflows and perhaps a change in government.
