I think as soon as the world sees a turnaround or a "flattening of the curve" and some more advances with vaccinations then we will see a swift and marked stock market turnaround and star stocks like ALK will fire very quickly. Do believe that will be in "pockets" though, the recovery period for airlines, cruise liners and travel agents could be a long hard road. This is a whole new ball game very much unlike the GFC and general over-valued stock markets over time. At the end of the day everything is cyclic but these circumstances in 2020 are really quite exceptional. We may possibly enter into a new world, one where manufacturing bases could return to countries such as ours on an unpredictable scale. I have a bit more confidence in the ASM de-merger, likely delayed until the pastures are greener? There are likely to be some real tough retail victims in this, they weren't strong before the virus, a couple of retailers in Australia went to the wall before all this, more to come I think? Six months could see demand wane everywhere, but watch the skyrocket when we all get the all clear. (Hopefully get the all clear and a clean bill of health each). I am more than happy with my little entry point again at 50c about two weeks ago. Hang on to your hats in six months after winter I predict
