I think a lot of RIO holders will be happy to sell their holdings. Hence if RIO wants to enhance its value and increase the potential T/O price from BHP it would be a good move for them to snap up ZFX.

Credit Suisse took brought into ZFX probably expecting (knowing) BHP making a bid for RIO and a subsequent bid by RIO for ZFX. Although just over 1% of that holding was sold over the last few days, its not because of them losing faith in ZFX, but rather the procedures such investment banks need to follow when companies in which they purchases shares decline a certain percentage from their purchase price.
