I want to keep both @zebster and @tomboy in the room- they both bring something valuable to me. I know they have moments, but the back and forth forces both of them to clarify, and add more than they might normally. In my opinion, this is the best HotCopper chat room I know, and, I really value their commitment and generous sharing of thoughts.

If Zebster is causing you pain, just ignore him, and focus on the words of Tomboy, and others- there is no harm in that, but trying to belittle a person's view, that is reasoned, by just saying they are a loser, adds nothing. I think you have more than that, why not just support TB with reason? The answer (for me at least) is that it is bloody hard work, and, once you realise the effort, it shows the level of generosity shown by both TB and Zeb.

They both work bloody hard showing us their thinking- agree, or disagree with what they share, at least value their attempts to make us all smarter and respect that, if nothing else.
