its possible some a2m production may have halted. There is excess inventory and a stock provision has been raised. The stock provision is a book entry charging a book (not cash expense) expense to profit and loss.

If they actually sell this excess stock they can reverse the book entry and second half profit results will be $20 million better than first half profit results by a flick of a pen ( well, a computer journal entry reversal any way). I started my working life as an accountant.

Halting production may be a wise idea. I don't think there would be any long term lay offs.
