Ampol owns Gull in New Zealand. There is talk that the Commerece Commission may not allow AMPOL to take over ZEL, because of their Gull Stations. But lo and behold, There is a notice of all of the Gull unmanned Service Stations in New Zealand up for sale. Manned Service Stations are usually independently owned and may move over the the Z Caltex model. So this really fits in with the rumour.
