i was sitting back last night reviewing my ARQ holdings and note that this Company has been promising much and deliverying very little. Although Eric has won awards he certainly has done little for his shareholders!
In 2005 the share price was approx $1.85 - 2.00 and today it is circa $1.35 (having jumped up after Corporate activity). In this same timeframe AWE has doubled! as have ARQ's peers.
When Eric was questioned during his results presentations on a capital management program/dividends he always sidetracked this issue.Instead he redeployed the cash he was sitting on into non core (overseas) investments and new geographic areas that others were glad to get out of!
Today the Company maker is the Canning area. However, based on the speculated price of $1.58 offered by AWE, it appears that all the blue sky will be given away for nothing and again we will be left with the DISAPPOINTMENT and Eric will no doubt get another award!
