Hi @Chuckybee
I hear you. I too felt this was disappointing. It's a bit of a game we have to play at the moment where we have to listen to the less than convincing reasons why the BOD are recommending the offer and look beyond that and read between the lines to figure out how we win here, or at the very least not lose. Tony's method of explanation was unfortunate at best.
It's a balancing act. At this stage the best outcome I can see is a NO to the Pfizer offer but we do a licensing agreement/partnership with them instead. We keep our company and hopefully enjoy the significant upside from a partnership with a company like Pfizer.
In order to achieve this we need to simply vote NO and then enter negotiations in good faith for the licensing deal. We need to temper our frustration about the way this has played out and focus on the end game. One thing is for sure as other posters have alluded to and that is blowing up the BOD and Management is a zero sum game, as is denigrating Pfizer. There will be plenty of time to review and vote on BOD positions at the AGM in November.
I understand that the level of interest and enquiry in Resapp has gone through the roof as a result of the exposure that this deal has given us so my hope is we let this play and make our decision when all cards have been revealed We're at least 6 weeks away from a vote. A lot can still happen and I'm sure Pfizer and management are very aware that the chances of this buyout getting up are miniscule so ball is in their court.
I do like what TT is doing and taking positive action to solidify our NO vote. This is the best and really the only card we can play. IMO GLTAH DYOR!
