You calculation make sense. For other take over examples in ASX, the market price will take the risk as the gap to the offer price. Normally the gap will start from 10% until 2% before the completion of the deal.
For now, the PDL and PPT prices are linked together for the same UP/DOWN trend following the general market movement.
