    I think $1.50 is realistic, but then what would this resource mean to another company?

    What are the motivations of the potential acquirer?

    If it is SQM or Albermarle, perhaps they want to secure more land / resource to become a more valued partner to the Chilean government and perhaps have more sway? Maybe they want to lock someone else out?

    What will the new mining code look like? Will established players have preferential access to new ground that may be unlocked? What would that be worth?

    I am sure the Chilean government wouldn't want to have to deal with 10 different companies if they could create a duopoly, it would be much cleaner and simpler.

    Could geographic diversity be valuable to company that doesn't have a presence in Latin America?

    The belle of the ball does not have a single suitor. I would say that this is the case for LPI.
