I know for certain OXR had a look-in on JBM but Xstrata had about a 2 week head start, without that head start you may still be watching a battle for JBM. OXR is also looking to branch out to nickel sooner rather than later, so it will be interesting to see whether Ox go for a producer or explorer.

I also believe OXR is determined to make itself into a large independent resource stock and will be (or try to) the takeoverER rather than the takeoverEE.
