I'm not touching it until I see who the new CEO is. Buying Rivers was cringingly dumb, as it wasn't about the numbers, but about having a product the the market wants. Fashion items have a relatively short life span, and you can't sell 90s clothing (maybe I am exaggerating - but I am not sure - which is troubling) for more than salvage.
The directors may not be capable of identifying an individual with talent in the aesthetic aspects of the business. And without addressing this, SFH is a dead duck IMO. There aren't enough blind customers to build a business, so it would help if the promotional materials were contemporary looking as well IMO.
If you are fashion sense-less or are even slightly on the Aspergers scale- make sure you ask your more aesthetically inclined friends and family members if there is any chance they would shop there. No point looking at the numbers alone. If they say no, ask again in twelve months.
“WE WILL BE A GLOBAL MARKET LEADER AS
WE CHANGE THE PERCEPTION OF FASHION”
They will certainly have to change peoples perception of fashion . . . a lot. If they could only work out mind control - lol.
