The way I see it, GTP is basically an investment in rural property. Majority of asset value from over $1B worth of property & timber assets (increasing each year as leases wind down) plus $215K of PPE. Trading at under half book value (about $2.20 ps). Market cap about $300M vs book value of $700M. GTP has only $95M worth of intangible assets.
You could probably break-up GTP for $600M.
I dunno, maybe GTP doesn't actually own all that rural property?
Went ex div (3 cents), down 16 cents. Interesting move.
Doubled my GTP holding today.
