Still - the overselling does present some nice buying chances. I remember just recently thinking how I wish I'd had the nerve to go long at 24 and 25 when it was down there. It was dangling that carrot for the better part of two weeks if I remember correctly.
Its off around 5.7% from its close one week ago. Copper will go higher as soon as the Chinese start buying again. Uranium, oil and Iron Ore will all blitz next year IMO and offset any copper decline and more. It would take an absolute and sustained mass selldown in the entire metals and energy sector fuelled by negetive growth for a long time in the US AND Asia for BHP to start losing money. That just aint going to happen.
