    After the AFR article of a few days ago, it needs to be considered.

    Only the International arm of the business needs to be 51% foreign owned to fit with international travel agreements.

    Thus, in a restructuring 19%ish owners AirNZ (and/or 26% Virgin Group partners) could take over the domestic (and most profitable) business. An Aussie based consortium could take 51% of the international arm and combined with the current agreements they probably would make lots of coin.

    All speculative, but should hold a floor under the current share price, all considered.

    The Velocity business is the unpriced cream. If is was potentially priced at half the Qan FF business, you would have the current VBA shareprice...
