It's hanging in there I must admit - albeit in a 30 - 35 c trading range that is much better then what I thought it would be.
I would think it is gaining some benefit from Ni at +$37K, that is the blue sky and potential effect that you are pinning your hopes on. A bit like the Aussie cricket selectors and Shane Watson as the great all-rounder hope (watch that thought get superseded and crash and burn within a year).
I did have a bit of a chuckle though about your "shrewd" accumulation. It is so shrewd that it hardly measures on the volume chart.
