by end of day - above 11000 possibly up 90 to round 11012. Just a punt but low vol yesterday. Will we look back at this in three months and say it was 'just a breather'? Dunno if Im a bull or a bear, consequently can I assume (as a market participant) that others feel equally undecided.
Calling day to day has good odds - 50%, calling three months down the track, well thats another story!!
Either way, i think its wise to expect and hedge for a big dive in one of the possible directions, either resumption or destruction of the trend. More volatility to come for sure. Maybe strangles are the way to go?
To say the least, interesting times ahead. Will oil & precious metals remained coupled to the DOW or have they decoupled? I think this is very intertesting.
