It's difficult to get excited about the Phylogica story when the share price is under pressure, however, consider the news flow especially regarding the Roche collaboration.
Watt, in The CEO Transcript said that "we're confident that we've delivered" and "we're delighted with the progress of that collaboration." In the presentation dated September 2, 2010, there is a slide titled Roche and MedImmune - there is a key dot point under the Roche heading - "discovery of new cell penetrating peptides." I don't have the scientific background in biologics to say this is a major discovery in the pharmaceutical world but I think its extremely significant.
I'm also excited by the dot point in the presentation under Introduction - "opportunity for second deal with Roche (already negotiated)." A second deal by Roche would be a big vote of confidence.
