The 'discovery of new cell penetrating peptides' is apparently a very significant breakthrough. I re-read an article in BioTechnologyNews.net dated December 22, 2009 which was written following the original Roche announcement.
The story by Nick Evans features an interview with Dr Paul Watt.
"[Watt] added that intracellular targeting might be the 'next major frontier' for drug development," said Evans.
Fellow investors, we are dealing with the next major frontier in drug discovery and Watt is confident that Phylogica has delivered a candidate to Roche which can access the space inside of cells.
