In fact( as the bids strengthened yesterday with low to low up 2c on the previous day)The rising AUD will help the SOA meeting votes in favour in a few weeks as the downside MIM will become greater. This higher AUD plays into the hands of the nonexec. directors sale of 172c. Will Xstrata pullout???definitely not,,they now have loads of cash with a small depeciation of the pound to Aussie,,, they always knew it would be tough going getting MIM@172,,, and now they will. I bought back in yesterday 70K @ 165 and if I can get some a bit lower i will. Goodluck all!!
