One of the reasons I first looked at SDL was by following "The King"(Ken Talbot) and his companies investments. Whether you like the man or not, he certainly has the ability to recognise a junior explorer's potential. Once identified, he then supports that company in a big way:
Now, there are a few others, but I couldn't find any details of those holdings. My point is, the man puts his hard earned $$$ where he sees large capital gains in small cap companies and demonstrates that confidence by purchasing significantly large holdings.
Take a look at Karoon Gas today - $12.00. That puts his investment at $274 630 860 I'd say that's a pretty good reward for demonstrating his support for a once "junior"!
As for SDL, hopefully he has seen the same potential, I'm sure he hasn't poured millions into a "wood duck" and being on the board gives him the insight that WE DON'T.
