Exactly right. The truth in takeovers policy is grounded in the misleading and deceptive conduct provision of the Corps Law.
My point is that even if a finding of unacceptable circumstances is made by the Takeovers Panel, the "penalty" isn't really going to be enormous, and there is a good chance that no finding of unacceptable circumstances will be made.
