As to feeding fish When I first shifted to Qld I bought a small boat and asked the guy I bought it from for some fishing spots, he agreed to show me but said we had to get bait.
He produced a net about 100 feet long and told me to walk out to sea and make a big circle and come back in Well some of the bait was certainly big enough to eat and to regulation size
So off we went to his favourite fishing spots for the rest of the day to catch fish that were smaller than the bait.
