We may need to wait until we get permitting for 100ktpa, before we get off take. Battery manufacturers want garenteed bulk supply. With Syrah they know they have garenteed bulk supply.
We only submitted permitting application for 100ktpa in September 2021. The Company has been informed by its Swedish advisors that the standard processing time for exploitation concession applications is 12-20 months.
The length of time it's taken with the permitting already. EOM probably not convinced yet we will get permitting granted.
It's a shame we went down the graphene path for years, cause if we focused on batteries sooner we should have had permitting already.
We could not do feasibility study with graphene, but we could with anodes.
EOM's want to sign off take with confirmation that they have bulk supply locked in. 19ktpa is not going to be enough for off take agreement. We need at least 100ktpa anode permitting approval.
