Syrah can mine 365 days of the year. Talga can mine 182.5 days of the year.

Syrah wants to charge $5,400 per tonne of Active Anode Material.
Talga wants to charge $11,250 per tonne of Active Anode Material.




News of Tesla deal with natural graphite anode producer is great news for Talga. We just need to get permitting sorted.

We had trial mine environmental licenses approved in 2015 and in 2020.
Exploitation (mining) and environmental permits were submitted to relevant authorities in May 2020.

Finally was able to get DFS done on 1 July 2021, a requirement for Exploitation mining license.
We are waiting on mine permitting for 19ktpa of Anode and are scheduled to receive this permitting in mid 2022.

The Niska expansion exploitation applications have been submitted for 100ktpa on 1 September 2021. The Company has been informed by its Swedish advisors that the standard processing time for exploitation concession applications is 12-20 months.
Hoping once we get the 19kt approved we don't have to wait the same period for the 100kt approval.
