Talga in 2023, page-650

As 2023 draws to a close, I'm doing a bit of reflection on the state of my portfolio.

Without bosting (like anyone would care) I had a really fantastic year. I got lucky on an AZS tip which went gangbusters, rode the NEU train, and my smaller positions are blooming nicely.

TLG remains a red blemish- by far my most negative position currently (-34.77% for anyone who gives a rats- I started buying in Nov '22 and at one point bought a parcel at 1.65 dammit).

However, (and this is a personal opinion obvously) the company is still in a fantastic position. Yes, the SP is in a hole, but I am reminded of the jitters I got from EYE in the months before it burst back out of the gate recently, or the incessant downramping and negativity on the NEU threads when the SP drifted from 14.00 down to 10.00 on the back of no news... It's hard to maitain faith in your investment thesis when the maket is valuing a position differently.

Is a TLG revival certain? Absolutely not. But my faith remains undimmed, and I believe those who hang on and keep trusting their evaluation of the company's plans and prospects will be rewarded big time. By all means, if our assessment of the fundamentals changes- we should sell. But don't let the SP tell you what TLG is worth.
